Meet your Parent Coach,
Betsy Sullivan


Because the parent coaching relationship is so dynamic, it is important to know about the Coach you choose. The following is a summary of who I am, what my experiences and trainings are and why I am the best person to partner with you to unlock and maximize your parenting potential.

Professionally:

  • I have over 35 years of happy, successful, real-world experience working with children and their families.
  • I have been an elementary classroom teacher,
  • an elementary school counselor and
  • a therapist in private practice.

Educationally:

  • I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education,
  • a Masters Degree in Special Education, and
  • a Masters Degree and an Educational Specialists degree in Counseling.

I have pursued my passion for helping children and their families by receiving additional certifications as:

  • a Trauma and Loss School Specialist,
  • a Trauma and Loss Consultant and
  • an ACPI Certified Coach™ for Parents.

I am a lifelong learner and participate in regular professional development opportunities.

I have a wonderful family! I am married and have two step-sons, two daughter-in-laws and four grandchildren as well as extended family.

I love to golf, play bridge, read, walk, bike ride, travel and spend time with my family and friends.

I am active in my community and participate on numerous boards and committees that focus on bettering the lives of children and their families in our community.
